Country Boy’s RV Park, Madison, GA

March 2017

Our set-up here, first time we pulled in a lot, unhooked, and didn’t have to level side to side or front to back.

Lots: It looks as though the park is split between an area dedicated to people who are staying for a few days, and folks who rent from month to month. All, or almost all, of the lots are pull through. All lots are gravel based and very level. This is a medium sized park with mature trees in the long term area but no trees in the overnight area. The park is not as pretty as many we have seen, but the town of Madison makes up for that.

Positives: Location. This park is located near one of the most beautiful little towns in which Angela and I have ever visited. Madison, Georgia, has a lovely downtown area and some gorgeous southern homes. The Park is also about an hour from Atlanta and would be a great location to park for visits to the city. This park has easy in and out and the lots are very level.

Negatives: The long-term section of the park seems a little run down. Unless you are in the long-term parking area, it’s a long way to the showers and laundry.

Front Office

Long-Term side of the Park, Mature Trees, some RVs were rough looking.

Cute shops downtown Madison

One of many gorgeous southern houses in Madison

Daily rental side of park, few trees

How to tell a long term camper? Permanent deck and overhang usually gives it away.
