Rates:
Lots: This is a small park. Most of the lots are pull through with a few back in. All lots are dirt and packed sand based. The park is pretty nestled on a small lake with mature trees.
Amenities: Water – Yes, Electric – Yes (30 and 50), Sewer – Yes, TV – Yes, Internet – Yes
Other Conveniences: Showers, Laundry, Fenced in Dog Walk, Free Fishing, Social Hall with Large Deck
Other Inconveniences: No Playground for Kids
Positives: Location – The park is about halfway between Jekyll and St. Simon’s Islands, and Savannah. There are ample State Parks around the area to visit. The rate is not a bad for the location. The internet connection was the best we have had in a long time.
Negatives: The size of the park is not agreeable with exercising. There is a small lake, but another RV park is on the other side so there is no ability to walk around the lake. Humidity and bugs are a problem, that’s a problem with the area so there’s not much that can be done about that. The ground is packed sand and you will tend to get sand on everything unless you continually wash (RV, Car, Carpet, etc.)
