Rates: Like most State Parks the website does not provide a rate until you put in your stay. I put in an RV stay of one day for 50 electric and water only, and received a rate of $20 for a one night stay. They do have some full hook-up sites but you will have to search for availability and length of stay on the website to obtain a specific rate.
Lots: Most are back in sites, but there are some pull-thrus. Most are dirt or packed sand, but there are some concrete. This is a good sized park with grown trees. This is a very pretty park.
Amenities: Water – Yes, Electric – Yes (30 and 50), Sewer – Available but not at all sites, TV – No, Internet – No
Other Conveniences: Boat rentals, Hiking trails, Scuba Diving, Fishing, Playground for kids, and Food Concessions
Other Inconveniences: No Laundry, No Dog Walk
Positives: The price. Normally State Parks cost less than commercial lots, and this is no different. This is a beautiful park with Live Oaks and Palm Trees. Canoeing on the river, looking for Manatees, People watching, this would be a very relaxing place in which to spend some time. From tents to Class A’s there is a site for everyone.
Negatives: with the water and the humidity, I would expect that bugs may be a problem.
