With our Good Sam Discount we paid $27.00 plus tax per night for the three nights we stayed here.
Lot:
This is a large park. There are pull through and back in sites. They are upgrading some of the lots (I’m not sure if they are planning to upgrade them all or not) to concrete. Our pad was concrete but some were gravel. The park is about a mile or two off Interstate 10. Cabins are also available.
Amenities: Electric – 30 and 50 amp, Water – Yes, Sewer – Yes, TV – No, Internet – Yes
Other Conveniences: Laundry, Showers, Gathering Room, Fishing, Boating, Playground for Kids, Two Pools, Propane, Restaurant, Basketball Goal, and Mini Golf, and for advance notice and a small fee (we paid $5), you may wash your RV
Other Inconveniences: No dog walking area
Positives: Because this is a large park, the opportunity for exercise by biking or walking is available. This is a very pretty park with many mature trees and a bayou. It reminds me of a park you would visit for a picnic or outing. If you like to fish this would be a great place to stay. The park is a short drive (maybe 5 minutes) from the Gulf of Mexico and beaches.
Negatives: There is construction going on, at least during our stay. Quiet time is until 8:00 AM, that is unless you are pouring concrete. You may want to ask if they are doing construction in the area you are being assigned. They have not shut down any part of the park for construction. They poured two pads directly behind our RV in the three days we were there.
