Rate: Below are the rates for Boondocking, Water and Electric only, and Full Hook-ups. These are all daily rates. The website does not mention weekly or monthly rates, so you will have to talk to the front office to get those rates.
Lot: This is a good sized RV Park with lots spaciously placed around a large fishing pond. There are pull throughs, back in’s, tents only, and cabins. There are many trees and the park resembles a true park. All lots are relatively level and gravel based.
Amenities: Electric – 30 and 50 amp, Water – Yes, Sewer – Yes (but not all – dump available for others), TV – No, Internet – Yes
Positives: This is a park atmosphere. Almost all lots have a view of the pond. Circling the pond is about a half mile and would be good for a daily walk or bike ride. The park is only a few miles from the Baseball Hall of Fame. This would be a good place to park for a weekend to enjoy the atmosphere, a week to enjoy the Baseball Hall of Fame, or a month to enjoy it all.
Negatives: There is a steep hill coming in and leaving the park. It makes coming into the park scary, and leaving the park difficult on the two lane road onto which you are trying to maneuver. Try not to follow any one in or out of the park. All amenities are not available and I cannot vouch for the internet connectivity since we were only there for a night. Like all other northern RV parks there is a season so they are not open year round.
PS. We were moving from Vermont to Cleveland and were only able to stay one night. If we get the opportunity to go back to Cooperstown to see the Hall of Fame we will definitely stay here.
