The pool area is so extremely nice here at Green Acres RV Resort Park that I’ve wanted to write about it for several weeks. The pool was opened in early May; it is a beautiful, well-maintained salt water pool. Use of the pool is free to campers. Local folks are allowed to pay daily admission rates to use the pool. I’ve learned that the best time to go is between 10 a.m. and noon; often during the week, I find that I have, for that time, a private pool. Lunch until late evening, the pool is frequently very busy, and since I prefer the quieter times, there are no pictures as of posting of the busy period, though I have witnessed it. Maybe I’ll take a shot of a very active pool time and post it later.
Today was one of those “the pool was all mine” days, and I spent about an hour and 15 minutes there, splitting my time between water aerobics and laying out (using Broad Spectrum SPF 60 Sunscreen) to let the sun help make some vitamin D for me.
After making the” pool and toes” picture, I remembered how yucky my toe nails are. Below is a picture of my toes after the pedicure; I came back and edited the post. I had already made an appointment to get a pedicure this afternoon, so I wanted you to see that the toes look much more decent now. 🙂
If you are in the Savannah/Pickwick, Tennessee area and want a nice camping spot with a great swimming pool, stop on by our home on the roam for now, Green Acres.
