November 27, 2014 (by Jimmy) – First, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you; I hope you have many blessings to count. Now on to the rambling.
This has been a very busy week. Angela and I have been moving things out of the apartment. Yesterday, we finally moved out the last of the boxes. She and I had our first overnight visitors at the RV on Tuesday, Liam and Presley, two of our grandkids. Angela helped their mom (Casey) clean their house because we were having Thanksgiving dinner there. The apartment walk through was yesterday. All this and we still had some learning at the RV – we ran out of propane this morning – Yes, Thanksgiving morning.
Because of all the moving activity, the RV is now loaded with boxes that need to be gone through and things that need to be put away. At this point we are extremely disorganized, and that is one thing you can’t be when living in a small place. So, for the next three days, Angela and I have plans to go through the boxes brought over from the apartment and organize the RV.
Since it is Thanksgiving, what am I thankful for this holiday? Well, we are now officially out of the apartment and are full-time RVers. This is what we have been working toward for the last few months, so I am happy that we have accomplished what we set out to do. I am thankful for my wife, Angela. Her support and encouragement makes this kind of living possible. I know that we are such a great team, and we will make this lifestyle work because we respect and compliment each other. Finally, I’m thankful for you that read this blog; it’s good to know that you are out there following our adventure and supporting us by reading.
