SyGul (pronounced Sea Gull)

October 8, 2014 (by Jim)

Well, according to my mother, my wife and I have gone off the deep end.  However, according to her dad, we have started an adventure that will keep us young for a long time to come.  What have we done?  We’ve bought a fifth wheel camping trailer and a truck to pull it (I’m sure either Angela or I will provide you with more details about the acquisition later).  We bought a “2010 Keystone Outback Sydney Edition 321FRL” camper.  Her name is Sydney since she’s a Sydney Edition.

The truck we bought is a 2005 Dodge 2500 with a 5.9 Liter Cummings Diesel engine.  Since we are going to travel in this truck, I came up with the name Gulliver (for those of you who don’t read or didn’t see the Jack Black movie, Gulliver is a traveler).

Anyway, you have to have the truck and trailer together to actually move your house, so Sydney/Gulliver, or SyGul, is the official name of our rig.  Come on; you have to admit it is cute.  Now that we have our first post, let the adventure begin!
